SiteWit Corporation

This Privacy Policy is effective as of November 1st, 2009.

SiteWit Corp. (“SiteWit Corp.,” “we,” “us”) provides this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate its privacy protection standards and to tell users of our policies and procedures regarding how we collect, use and disclose personally identifiable information received from users of this website at www.SiteWit.com and all pages stemming from this domain (“Site”).

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that SiteWit Corp. does not own or control or people it does not employ. This Privacy Policy only applies to the information that we collect through this Site as well as through the paid search management software application available on this Site (“Subscription Services”).

Information Collection

SiteWit Corp. records information from users at a number of different places in our Site. When we collect personally identifiable information we do so to deliver the product and services available on the Site, to communicate with you, and to manage your user account, if you have registered one.

If you select to access restricted sections of the Site, you will be required to register and submit certain personally identifiable information to SiteWit Corp. This may happen in several instances, such as when you sign up for our Subscription Services, you subscribe to our newsletter or other marketing materials, you download materials such as “white papers” from the Site, or if you wish to enter into contests, sweepstakes or promotions (collectively “Promotions”) we provide via the Site. Personal information, such as a user’s name, address, job title, contact information and range of paid search spend may be collected from you and stored in our databases, typically when you register into our services, enter into a sales promotion or otherwise interact with us. Registered users may have a user name and password to access their company information.

If you decide to become a paying client for the Subscription Services, we may collect supplementary information from you, such as your credit card number and billing information.

If you contact us by email through the Site, we may keep a record of your correspondence, and may use your email address to reply to you. In addition, we may use your contact information to market to you and inform you about our products and services. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communication messages.

Any personal information voluntarily disclosed by you on our Site through e-mail, in public-view personal profiles, public-view uploaded materials, chat rooms, or message boards, is viewed and possibly used by other users, and such disclosure may have unintended privacy implications for you.

When you visit the Site, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a web site (“Web Log Data”). This Web Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, the website domain from which you are visiting, the web-pages you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click. This is anonymous information that does not personally identify a user but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving a user’s experience on the Site.

We may also collect statistical and other data related to your use of the Site or services thereon, usage patterns or other behavioral information. This information is collected and used as non-individually identifiable information.

Information Usage

We use information which does not identify users individually, to analyze trends, to administer the Site and improve our services, to track users’ navigation around the Site and to gather demographic information about our user base.

Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy; SiteWit Corp. will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties. If you decide to enter into one of our Promotions, we may share your personally identifiable information with third parties who work with us to sponsor and promote such Promotions.

Service Providers. We may employ certain third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting, customer relationship, and direct marketing campaigns. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your data.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. SiteWit Corp. cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of SiteWit Corp. or a third party, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.

Business Transfers. If any or all of the assets of SiteWit Corp. are acquired by, or merged with another entity, we may share some or all of your information with this entity.

However, IP addresses are collected by the use of cookies. SiteWit Corp. may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with the Site and to monitor the usage of our customers and their navigation on the Site. A session cookie enables certain functionality of the Site and is erased from your computer when you leave the Site. A persistent cookie remains after you exit your Internet browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Site. Persistent cookies can be deleted by following your Internet browser help directions. Most Internet browsers accept cookies automatically. SiteWit Corp. Client’s Websites

SiteWit Corp. is an agent for its clients, as it provides services for the benefit of the client. Our customers use our services to optimize their advertising campaigns. Our customers tell us as to what types of data they would like us to collect on their behalf. This recorded data may include search terms, search engine referral properties and purchase behavior and information.

SiteWit Corp. may collect data about certain actions on customers’ websites, including website visitors accessing website pages on the customer’s sites or performing particular actions. We use persistent cookies and tracking pixels to record actions at the customers’ sites. When an Internet visitor reaches those sites as a result of clicking on a customer ad on search engines or any other type of digital advertising media, SiteWit will use a unique tracking cookie on the computer and will use non-personally identifiable information about the visitor and activity at this site (such as a web surfer’s IP address, web pages which have been viewed by a web surfer, date and time) to track whether the referral results in an accomplished goal, as identified by the customer in the goal management section of our Subscription Services.

Updating and Deleting User Information

If you are a registered user of the Site, you can write to us at any time to obtain a copy of your information and to have any inaccuracies corrected by requesting us to make such changes at privacy @ SiteWit.com.

To protect your privacy and security, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections, however, you should protect your password from disclosure because anyone who gains access to your password may gain access and modify your profile.
